MyLinks

Can I add personal links to the site?

You can add personal links to the site in two places.  You can create subcategories of your own links within the content provided for you.  (See Customizing Site Content.) You can also create your own links categories within your MyLinks portlet.



How can I create more categories?

Your MyLinks portlet will come pre-populated with several links categories (or "widgets").  You can edit those categories as you choose, or even remove them. You can also add your own categories.  At the top of your MyLinks portlet there is a row of links. Click Manage Categories.  At the top of this page, click Create New Category.  You can now enter the name of the category you are adding, and choose a position within your MyLinks portlet for this category. Click the Add Category button to finish.



How do I add/edit a link?

To add a link to a new or existing category in your MyLinks portlet, mouse over the category on your homepage.  You'll see an Edit link appear in the upper right hand corner of the category. Click Edit.



Click Add Links to This Category in the center of the Edit page to add a link.  Click the pencil to the right of the link to edit.  Be sure to save your changes when editing a link by clicking the Update button.

How can I move my categories?

To edit your categories, click the Manage Categories link at the top of your MyLinks portlet.  Each category has a group of tools in the header. To move a category, click the moving van icon, then choose a new position for the category.



What is One-Click?

One-Click allows you to add a button to your Links toolbar. Wherever you are on the Internet, if you find a link that you want to add to your MyLinks portlet, simply click the One-Click button in your toolbar. It's that easy.  

To install One-Click, click the Add One-Click link in the upper right hand corner of your MyLinks portlet.  You'll find more information, and installation instructions on that page.


How do I import my browser favorites?

You can import your browser favorites into your MyLinks portlet, so you can access them from any computer.  For more information and instructions, click the Import Favorites link in the upper right hand corner of your MyLinks portlet.
